We have camped here four times over the last five years. Would have camped there every year but the campground was closed during the big Seeley Lake fire. Beautiful lake; nice campground, terrific camp hosts. Hate to praise the area more because we might have a tougher time getting a site here when we want because of the popularity of this campground. We belong to several campground memberships and frequent state, county, and federal campgrounds in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Recreation.gov has by far the best website for reserving campgrounds. It would be nice, however, if there could be a picture of each campsite along with the description of the campsite. The descriptions, which are provided, are helpful but we found several campsites at Holland Lake difficult to get out 36' fifth wheel RV into because of trees or boulders located in close proximity to the actual campsite or across the way making it difficult to back into some sites. Pictures of the sites would help a lot.

First time to visit this location. Beautiful lake and very nice, well layed out campground. It was late it the season so not many campers there. Weather was cold and rainy but still enjoyed the area. Planning on returning perhaps this year.

We love to camp at Holland Lake and paddle our kayaks around the lake looking for turtles and large fish and other wildlife. Once we say a young black bear playing in the water near the shore. Priceless!

The campground was clean, the restrooms were spotless. Met both camp hosts and they were outstanding gentlemen. Asked if we needed anything or if we needed directions to anywhere. Recommended areas to hike and sights to see. Dumping Station was clean and tidy. Great place and we will be back!

We 100%love this campground and absolutely thrilled at how clean and quiet it is. The camp sites are large enough that you don’t feel as though you are sharing the space. The beauty of the lake and breathtaking hikes make this place even more wonderful

The Holland Lake Campground and Group Site is located 7 miles south of Condon, Montana, and 20 miles north of Seeley Lake, Montana, off state Highway 83.
From Highway 83, turn east on Holland Lake Rd. and travel 3.5 miles to the intersection with Owl Creek Loop Road. Follow Holland Lake Road to the left and the entrances to the group site and campground are a short distance down the road.

Policies & Rules
General
- The site fee is per camping unit. A camping unit is an RV, trailer, motorhome, camper, tent, mobile sleeping unit, etc. Most sites are big enough for 2 camping units. Please be prepared to pay the at the self serve fee tube for any additional camping units (cash or check only accepted).
- If a site is not available for reservation online, it is shown as a first-come, first-served (FF) or walk-in (W) site. These sites will be identified at the campground on maps and campsite post markers with a W. If you move to a W spot upon arrival, you will be charged for the additonal spot.
- Reserved sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released.
- We do not allow reservation holders to change campsites and move to a Walk-up campsite upon arrival. Most of our campsites are available for advanced reservations, and you must occupy the site you reserve. If upon arrival you want to move into a walk in spot, you will have to pay for that spot at the campground.
- You are allowed 2 passenger vehicles per site, the first vehicle is included in the site fee and an extra vehicle charge of $5.00/vehicle per night will be collected at the campground. Sites that are identified as double occupancy can accommodate an additional camping unit. In this situation, you will be charged for each camping unit upon arrival payable at the campground (cash or check only please).
- Drop Camping is illegal without a Forest Service permit. If you rent a camper it may not be delivered by the owner.
- There is a food storage order in effect on the Flathead National Forest. Know how to store all attractants all the time. See your Campground Host for more information or visit: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/flathead/recreation/?cid=stelprdb5347448
- Horses are not allowed in the campground
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
- For the 2026 season, the permitted concessionaire for the Holland Lake Campground will supply portable restrooms for the Bay Loop area where flushing restrooms are closed. The RV dump station will be closed this season but potable water will be available. The areas already serviced by vault toilets will remain open with no change.

- Changes and CancellationsIf I book this reservation today, what are my options to change or cancel?Please remember that reservations at these facilities prevent other visitors from using these sites. Planned changes to your stay should be made as far in advance as possible. You can make changes to your reservation ahead of your arrival date in Reservations. ChangesIf your new stay dates are completely different from your original stay dates, there is a $10 change fee (per reserved site). If you cancel within 14 days of the check-in date, you will forfeit the down payment and one day at the rental rate, as well as the $10 cancellation fee.This is an automated process and Holland Lake personnel cannot make changes.
