What Guests Are Saying

The Horse Heaven Cabin offers a great location along the Macgruder Corridor, with ample amenities including firewood, cooking supplies, and a nearby stream for water and showering. It is cozy and well-equipped for four guests, making it ideal for small groups. However, the presence of nearby campers and darkness inside the cabin may be drawbacks for some.

This was our 2nd year traveling the Macgruder Corridor. We loved where the cabin was located and all the amenities. Plenty of wood, supplies for cooking, and the wonderful stream that helped with water and showering. We would highly recommend anyone stay here. Even though the cabin housed only 4 people, the space around the cabin was huge and could accommodate a large party.

You will not be alone here. Plenty of “locals” with their ATVs camp here “all the time”because of the vault toilet, stream, and shade. There will be campers in many tents between the cabin and the water source. Also accessing the wood pile. They will take over the picnic table.

Cabin itself is wonderful: stocked with all the kitchen things you could need. Very very dark inside.
