The location of this campground is ideal...right along the Madison River. We love floating the river again and again, getting out of the river right at the campsite. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean. Unfortunately, the last two times we've camped in this area, we've dealt with high winds.

The hosts are top notch. They showed kindness and understanding when I needed help. Furthermore, they keep the restrooms very clean and well maintained. The campsite was also clean and free of litter. Watch for high winds at night just after sunset.

Great campground hosts. Clean campsites. Pit toilets exceptionally clean. But water pump at west side of campground was out of order.

The campsite is a sloped gravelplace, with a big grasland next to it to chill or eat diner.
There are snakes in the campground and a couple of waterpoints to tab water from.
There is no dumpstation or garbage point. That in mind, its a beautful place next to a stunning mountain, lots of space to spot deer, birds and maybe more wildlife.

The campground was very quiet which was nice. The outhouse was not very clean and toilet paper had not been restocked.
