This was our first trip to the Madison river. The campsites were great. We were there late July and the water temp was perfect. The pictures of this valley do not do it justice. It is gorgeous. Considering the ongoing pandemic, I would have liked to see the bathrooms be disinfected daily. We arrived on Thursday the 23rd and it was disinfected that day but wasn’t disinfected again the whole time we were there. We left on the 27th. We will be returning again though because it is the best river for relaxed floating and paddle boarding.
