Well maintained wooded camp area with large paved sites. Nice beach swimming area with boat ramp. Access to nice walking/biking path. While the area was under some construction, would definitely visit again.

Rexford Bench provides an economical dry camping experience on a very scenic lake. When I visited, some of the facilities close to the lake were undergoing renovations, but in general the campground was clean and in good repair. There is a dump station with potable water available if you are visiting in an RV. The restroom on my loop did close one morning with no explanation (not for cleaning), but there were porta-potties available as an alternative, which was better than nothing. There were also other restrooms on other loops that I could have accessed. All in all it was a nice stay in a scenic area.

Campground was fairly empty so the host moved us to a larger site which was appreciated. Boat launch was down a hill and walkable. Some nice bike trails on packed dirt through the woods but no navigation maps available except on the trail boards. Interesting geology in the adjacent cove to explore by water off the main lake/reservoir where the wind picks up in the pm.
On the negative side the park administration was beginning replacement sewer work which went into effect on the day following our arrival. Port-a-johns were provided but not the same as having flush toilets.
