The campground itself is very nice and the staff has been friendly. The electricity is awful! We were on a 30 amp spot. The boxes are old and constantly shut off. We didn't even have anything turned on and it took multiple tries to get the power to stay on. Once we got it on we couldn't run the AC at all. We have had this problem every time we are on a 30 amp box in this campground (we don't have issues in other places) With as hard as it is to get in to this place I would think the boxes could be upgraded to be a 30/50 amp combo that would work all the time.

We just showed up and the lady at the booth was able to help us make a reservation online. Showers were a great surprise and big! Bathrooms were ALWAYS CLEAN! Which was so nice. It is a good change from outhouses. The walking/biking paths were great. My 2 and 4 year old loved them with their pedal bike and strider. The park for kids to play at was close by, but far enough away it wasn't so busy. I'd stay again! Just wish water was closer by, or we were told where we could swim.

After arriving, we actually left and drove further along for another place to stay. The camp ground was dry grass, not well kept or mowed. We didn’t even check out access to the river and if that offered anything. It just sort of seems that no one maintained anything although it was not a disaster. Just arrived around noon and thought what will we do all day? It’s not even scenic. Had time to continued on our way. No hook ups, but also very inexpensive if you happen to need it for an overnight.

Camp sites were close together. At some sites more than one family was occupying the site and had two to four vehicles some with boats parked crowding our site. The showers and bathrooms are separate The new showers had little water pressure and it took forever to rinse the soap out of your hair. No soap in the bathrooms with covid-19 warnings posted?
