I love to stay at Corps of Engineer campgrounds. They are usually well laid out, clean and well managed. This is no exception. I was shocked with the sign on the door of the bathrooms that cleaning in intermittent and it showed with showers not being cleaned for approximately a week. As a full-time camper I have found that all other campgrounds have stepped up the cleaning and disinfecting. But, I want to leave this review on the positive - I would return to this beautiful campground with a great nature trail perfect for bikes, walking and walking pets. The near-by Interpretive Center is a must-see.

The facilities are very clean and well maintained. I’m only sorry we didn’t have time to tour the visitors’ center.

It was difficult in making the reservation to know if we had a site with full hookups or not. received email about water outage but we didn't have a site with water. Wish it was MUCH easier to know what were getting.

Arrived at park they did not have power or water, keep in mind it was 100 degrees out. Had to go find water to fill tanks, they hold 60 gallons. Power did get turned on that evening, but would go out in the morning for a few hours. We ended up leaving 5 days early because they still did not have water. How do I request a refund.

As the campsites are nice and compost they're friendly It was unfortunate that a water main brake occurred during our stay with no way to dump RV tanks or fill fresh water we were forced to drive 20 minutes to town to empty our RV and fill water for our two weeks day. It did not feel as though getting the water turned back on and the dump stations opened was a priority for corp. staff. Other than these things nice day would come back again as long as water main was functioning and dump sites were open.
