4

Decent campground with some sites near a small stream, but as noted in the description not all sites have a level area. Not sure where the dumpsters were supposed to be, never saw any. Heavily washboarded road between Gardiner and campground, but otherwise good access to Yellowstone NP.

I stayed here for 2 nights during my Yellowstone trip. It contained everything we needed: a picnic table, ample space to set camp, bathrooms nearby, and a source of water. Gardiner is a 2-minute drive away. I would stay here again!

Required shared bear boxes with campsite adjacent to you (only fits two coolers max). No garbage services despite full price rates and practically no shade if you arent in site 7.

We spent 2 nights here, site 7. Site 7 is by far the best site as it's at the end of the road, so no traffic and good privacy. The view is spectacular and you can see Mammoth Hot Springs in the distance. Avoid sites 5 and 6 as they flood due to beaver dams on the creek running behind them. The road up to the campground leaves a lot to be desired. It's gravel, washboard bumpy and steep with some switchbacks. Just go very slowly. The vault toilet was fine for an outhouse. ATT cell service was virtually nonexistent but there is good service down in town. Also a nice little grocery store in town. We would definitely go back.
