Quigley Group Use Site, Loop: Area Quigley Group Use Site
Quigley Group Use offers a great, easily accessible location with personal space for groups and beautiful valley views, complemented by wildlife visits from moose and deer. Cell service is reliable, enhancing the experience. While there is some traffic noise and limited shade, these minor drawbacks do not overshadow the overall enjoyment of the site.
Great location easily accessed and secluded from the other camp sites. Really enjoyed the personal space for the group. Nice views out over the valley. Moose and deer visited. Cell service good. One 2 very slight draw backs: day use area neighbors the site, which brought few guests nearby, and using the vault toilet on the edge of the group site which is designated for the group site use. And the hwy is right there, so occasional vehicle noise. Worth it though.

We went at a very warm time. It was nice to be at the top of the pass, and have it cool off at night. There is some traffic noise and frequent cars and people pass by. Very little shade. Lots of sun exposure. Overall a great spot.
We had planned to stay until tomorrow, but our second day here ended abruptly. Out of nowhere, heavy rain poured down, accompanied by thunder and lightning. Concerned about the roads—mostly gravel with sections of soil and grass turning into slippery mud—we decided to pack up and leave early. We didn’t want to risk getting stuck. Unfortunately, the weather and conditions gave off a very negative vibe, and our experience here ended on that sour note.
I recently visited this campground and had a very disappointing experience. I do not recommend coming here. The site is far too expensive for what is essentially primitive camping, with very few amenities to justify the cost. The area felt unsafe and unmonitored, as people and vehicles were constantly coming and going. Overall, I would strongly suggest avoiding this location for camping.
