Great cabin and there was plenty of firewood at/ near the cabin. It was nice and warm just from the sun during the day. The heat stayed theough the night. Bring water.

Such a wonderful winter spot and so clean! A quick note to future visitors - the cabin has basically all of the kitchenware you need EXCEPT utensils and bowls, so be sure to bring your own if you want them.

A most enjoyable sewing retreat with friends and granddaughter. It was very hot and we couldn’t open the windows because of no screens. Flies were abundant.

Continue on this gravel road another 17 miles. The cabin is on the west (right) side of the road across from the Fourmile Trailhead parking area. The Forest Service sign at the entrance to the cabin reads Fourmile Ranger Station.
During winter months it is advisable to call the Livingston Office of the Yellowstone Ranger District at (406) 222-1892 for current conditions.
