The area is beautiful. We were there with a group. The place is so big that we were too far apart. Otherwise, wonderful!

Extremely clean and vast amounts of camping spots. So far in Montana it is my favorite campground. Can’t beat the easy access to amenities and hiking trails. Love the views, tree cover and natural vegetation. The camp host was available, but not invasive of your space. Dog friendly too!

We, unfortunately, only had a quick two days at Woodbine, but we wished we had more! We stayed here for our one day in Yellowstone. On the drive in, and as soon as we arrived to the campsite we knew that we would be coming back to spend more time here. It was private and beautiful and inhabited by pro campers. Our hosts, Keith and Nancy were very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this campground!

The hike at the end of the road, Stillwater Trailhead, is spectacular. The first section goes through a gorge, raging water and absolutely wonderful. Sioux Charley Lake, about 3.5 miles up, also worth seeing. The loop in the lower numbers includes lots of shade (we were in 8), higher numbers may include a view of the mountains up the Stillwater.

his was our first camping trip up to Woodbine and we loved the area and our site. When they say the site is 30 ft max for RV's they mean it! That's about the size of mine(including the tongue) and I ended up parking it a little sideways to fit better. Plenty of room to park the truck beside the trailer though. Campsites were spaced out so you weren't right on top of each other. Short walk to the falls, places to run on your ATV or SxS and the river provides a nice opportunity to raft down. I was a little iffy as we were driving past the mine in Nye but you don't even know its there once you get back into the campground. Nye, which is just a few miles away has a gas station and a small convenient store in the case you forgot or run out of something. For how small the store is they have a lot of things in there you wouldn't expect to find. Woodbine is beautiful and one of the top places on our list that we've camped at so far in Montana. We will definitely be going back again!
