The bathrooms were very clean and the campgrounds were nice and quiet. Really enjoyed walking to the creek for a dip and taking a short hike to see the waterfalls. I have always loved Woodbine Campground. The hosts are doing a great job!

My family always enjoys this campground. Even if it is full, it still feels quite and empty most of the time. We always pick a spot next to the river and it is wonderful listening to the sound throughout the stay. It’s one of our favorite close-ish spots to home!

Woodbine is beautiful. It is the second time I have been there! I am so sorry about the Hosts camper fire. How sad for them!

We love Woodbine - it is beautiful and clean. The hard surfaces for driving and parking are appreciated, including the newly surfaced entrance road! The hike to the falls is one of our favorites. Be aware of no cell service which leads to zero to no official communication during emergencies.

Arrived to find camp host camp site was completely burned out. 5th wheel RV was burnt to the very frame. Didn't see anyone checking camp sites during our stay (3 nights). Construction crews chip sealed all the main roads while we were there. Crews were friendly and accommodating. Returning next week for another stay. Love this campground. Sorry to hear rates will increase by $8 per night next season. Seems like a rather steep increase to me.

A lovely spot! Camp was clean and quiet (tho it did fill up on the weekend and was a bit noisier). It’s easy walking distance to the river and several trailheads. Sadly, the hosts had a catastrophic fire at their site shortly before my arrival and weren’t available but the concessionaire company did a good job of maintaining the pit toilets. I never had safety concerns and noticed both sheriffs office and MT FWP officers cruising through the camp while I was there. I’d stay here again.

Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. Well maintained and clean. We really enjoyed our weekend here. Take the mile hike to the waterfall!

Woodbine Campground is accessible via Montana Highway 78 and Montana Highway 419, located south of Columbus, which connects to Interstate 90 approximately 43 miles east of the campground.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Campers are considered 'no-shows' 24 hours after the scheduled check-in time; sites will not be released before that.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site capacity
- Single Family sites allow only one camping unit; double sites have specific capacity limits.
Vehicles & parking
- Extra vehicle fees cannot be paid in advance; coordinate with the host upon arrival.
Site types & loops
- First come, first served sites must be booked in person; do not call for availability.
Wildlife & food storage
- Obey all food storage rules due to frequent bear activity; check with the host for details.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pests; firewood is available for purchase from the host.
