Basin Montana Campground

The camp host were both very friendly & helpful.

A nice, small campground near a few trailheads on a creek. Clean and quiet.

Basin Campground is always clean and well maintained. Spaces are an adequate distance apart and the scenery is beautiful!

It is a well-kept campground, the host was very friendly. She even let us know the scores of the Bobcat & the Griz FB game that weekend. So appreciated! We'll definitely come back there.

The bathrooms were tidy. Our plot was spacious. The host was friendly, attentive and helpful. We especially liked being right next to the river.

This is a great campsite and the host was very accommodating. Just outside of Red Lodge, off the grid, no services.

No complaints, very good had fun and went hiking

Camp host is doing a great job of keeping the camp clean. The restrooms were also clean and well stocked. The hike to Basin Lake 1 is a moderately difficult trip but worth it. A mere 1/4 mi up the trail is a lovely waterfall. Haven't been to 2. The Silver Run trail is less challenging however every bit as beautiful. From the Basin trail lot you can hike a 1, 2, or 3 mi loop, the trail offering cut-acrosses from the trail following the base of the mountain to the trail paralleling Rock Creek.
