This was our best spot in our three week tour of ID, WY & MT. The hosts are super nice and super helpful. And OMG, the bathrooms are positively first class! We were very comfortable and the river view is right out of a movie. Riverside morning coffee quickly became a thing. Go there!

We reserved 6 months in advance our spot. When we showed up there were people in our spot and the situation was not handled correctly.

The campground hosts Paul and Anne were very friendly, interactive, and helpful. Bathrooms and outhouses were clean.

The campground is well maintained with a good blacktop road leading all the way.
It is quiet with well spaced sites and trees.
We drove all the way down the road that dead ended in hiking trails. Beautiful scenery all the way. Right before the campground is a short hike to a small lake that used to be a resort.
The best part was the Beartooth Highway. A must see trip.
We also had dinner in Bearcreek right down the road. They hold pig races during the summer on Thursday thru Sunday.
Hope to camp there again.
