This is a beautiful, quiet and very shaded. This was one of our favorite campsites on our 6 week trip. It is nestled in the forest and on a lake. Clean vault toilets.

This campsite is conveniently located just south of Red Lodge, Montana. Other than the unforcasted rain, hail, thunder and lightning we experienced, the campground itself was just fine. Basic vault toilets, a water pump, and close by a lovely stream. We would camp there again.

Well kept, quiet , clean campground. Trails for hiking nearby. Friendly Camp hosts. The spot was a bit tricky to get into because of all the trees.

We love camping next to Rock Creek among the pines. Plenty of walking opportunities among wild flowers.

This is unfortunate as it creates a system where last minute camping decisions can’t happen even when campsites ultimately stay empty
