This is a wonderful location. Quiet, scenic and relaxing all in one spot. We stayed in site 16 which was a great spot. However, we were in a full profile 5th wheel at 40ft in length and ended up having to back out of the campground after our stay as the loop presented a few trees staggered along the loop that would have damaged our RV had we tried to drive around it. Other than that the place is wonderful!

The temperatures never made it out of the 40's for several days around the 4th of July. Prepare accordingly.

This is a great campground. It is well-kept and has nice campsites. We love that the creek runs through the area. Greenough Lake is a short, easy walk.

Camp host's system to tag site status as "open" versus reserved dates was confusing. Multiple layers of plastic tags and paper slips inside baggies were clipped to site posts.

A beautiful campground nestled between 2 mountain ranges with the roaring Rock River running through it. Sites were large, treed and spacious. Jane, our Host, was welcoming and kind. Our favorite site on our 5-week trip despite being primitive with no hook-ups. Use this campground as a gateway to Beartooth Pass and the very little used entrance into Yellowstone Park - a truly spectacular drive.

Great area.
The hosts had plenty of firewood when we ran out, and were very pleasant.

The Camp Host was informative, friendly, motivated and a delight.
The campground was well maintained. The bathrooms were well maintained, clean and did not smell bad.
The signs were clear and artistic.
