Great hike in, didn't see many people and the trail is easy and fun. Love all the creek crossings and nice bridges. Wish I had my horse out here to ride, would have been even better. Did not like how you have to lock the door. Really thought we would see some wildlife but didn't. It was every eerie out there, very quiet. Felt like maybe a cat was in the area, watching us. Great stay overall.

Was told by a friend who had visited several years prior that the bunks had no mattresses, no mattresses are shown in the pictures, and when I called the ranger station just before my visit, was told it was unlikely that there were mattresses. but when we got there.. mattresses! Had a great, relaxing time marred only by a propane lantern that had an empty cylinder in it and appeared to be have suffered some distorting damage prior to our arrival, perhaps having been dropped. It ate through our own supply of propane rapidly, and occasionally smelled like propane when it was turned off. We recommend disconnecting the cylinder when not in use for safety and to conserve fuel. Be prepared for bike riders riding aggressively and recklessly on the trail and investigating the cabin out of curiosity.

Beautiful cabin area. Ground hornets were bad right before the last water crossing but I’m not sure what can be done about them. It was disappointing to see the amount of food left in the cabin by other users. Packed out what we could but there was still a pile left. Please pack out everything you pack in and a little extra if others have left it. It would be a shame to have critters destroy the cabin trying to get to food.

Twogood is always an amazing experience. The cabin was clean when we arrived, and clean when we left. It's fun to read all the entries in the Cabin Log Book all the way back to 1997. I'm so happy that people have taken care of this wonderful oasis, and left items for others to use. We left propane and the Bible for others also. Twogood is nothing less than wonderful!

It is a long but very nice hike in. Encountered bears in two places but there was not a problem. Still, it is good to have bear spray.

Cabin isn't very well maintained and definitely had several mouse visitors, and not a lot of great hiking around, but the location is very pretty and relaxing.
