What Guests Are Saying
Up Up Lookout offers stunning views and a well-maintained cabin, making it a memorable destination. The drive to the lookout is manageable with the right vehicle, and the hiking trail adds to the experience despite occasional visitors. While there are some challenges, such as steep steps and limited cooking supplies, many guests found the overall experience rewarding and worth the effort.

This was our third lookout tower experience and it was great! We saw Elk and Moose and even a Black Bear right at the base of the tower, He was flipping rocks over and eating the bugs. We watched a storm approaching over the mountains that enveloped the tower, rattled the dishes, then moved off into the sunset! It was thrilling. The rock steps to the tower are pretty uneven so we were happy we brought a toilet bucket with us for night time. The cab is nice and tidy and just right for two people. We hiked over to Gold Peak and got some cool photos of the tower from 5 miles away.
