We have stayed at several cabins and smoke towers in the past and Bull River cabin is one of the best experiences we have had.
The setting, the area and the cabin itself were all great.
I wouldn't mind going back again.

From US Highway 2 (to the north) or State Highway 200 (to the south), travel on State Highway 56 to the East Fork Bull River Road #407 at approximately the 8 mile marker. Take Road #407 for about 1.5 miles and turn right on Road #2701. The cabin is approximately .5 miles past the junction of #407 and #2701. Directional signs are present.

General
- For more information including the cabin lock combination, contact the Cabinet Ranger District at 406-827-3533 prior to arrival
- There is no potable water provided: Guests must provide their own for drinking, cooking and washing
- Pets are allowed, but must stay off the furniture at all times
- Horses are not allowed in the cabin area. Please use the corrals provided. Certified weed-free hay is required.
- Quiet hours are from ; no amplified music.
- There is a 5 consecutive day stay limit. A break of 7 days is requested before making another reservation.
- Be aware, this facility is not cleaned between user visits. It is up to individual renters to bring their own cleaning supplies and clean before and after site use.
