Park was lovely. Campsite hosts and rangers were lovely. Showers and restrooms were great. Hosts were diligent in keeping us all clean and safe. We had a good experience. I would recommend that campers make sure they understand the vehicle pass information. This was confusing and inconsistent.

Very much enjoyed our stay. We stayed in Campground Loop B which was very close to the bike trails. Everything was very convenient. It was very hot so the shaded sight was perfect.

This campsite has insane access to Lake McDonald and the campsites are nice. They are VERY close to the road, so keep that in mind. No service for any carrier in the campground (or entire park).

We liked the site although it was a bit noisy as two families were either side of us with 4 children each. All good fun though. The ranger led astronomy talk eith expert (Sydnay?) was wonderful. The lake was superb, the scenery beautiful. The town shopping and and dining was excellent too!

Amazing campground! The lake is steps away and it is right off Going to the Sun Road. Super easy to access West Glacier!

ALL campground reservations inside the park, any East Side, West Side, or North Fork campground reservation, should automatically include a vehicle reservation for the Going to the Sun Road between 6am and 3pm on both the West side and St Mary entrances.

i got my reservation to apgar back in february. i assumed i didnt need a pass to get into the park ! i thought i had a pass because of ny apgar reservation ! when i tried to go to avalanche campground to park for a bike ride on going to the sun which was closed to cars i was refused ! whole purpose of trip is to ride gonig to the sun . i am a native montanan who lives in helena !!! the park was not packed and the old guy who rudely told me to bad could have let me go up this 1 time, i begged ! so it was a bad trip ! its not the easiest system to decipher, iave been riding on going to the sun many years , maybe i will never get to do it again !!! i turn 70 on july 26th ! i am running out of time !! tom furlong

Good campground. There is only one shower station, which is located in the A loop. There are three showers and one was broken for the season so the wait for showers every night was ~45 minutes.
