The campsite was easy to navigate and our spot was clean. We chose a location central to the bathrooms and water pump but within walking distance of the lake as well. The camp hosts and park rangers were all very friendly and forgetting any essential items isn't the end of the world because West Glacier is nearby with shops that have anything you might need. 10/10 experience

Always love staying at this campground. This was my first time staying with the camper and it went well! FYI for anyone planning a trip with a large camper trailer: The sites are a little narrow, with a limited turn radius and varied leveling.. so be prepared to have a slightly less than ideal time trying to get your trailer aligned/ leveled appropriately if you have a slide out. Our 5th wheel is just under 30ft long with one slide out and we were able to make it work well for us. There were trees blocking some pinch points that would’ve definitely made positioning the trailer easier. Not a complaint, just sharing to give others the heads up.

The hosts were very nice, however one night a woman host whom we never met before was a bit rude! She accused us of picking up firewood in the park while we were fishing. We did I not fish in the park (she happened to see our fishing poles) and we bought our wood from the village. She returned several times to make sure our fire was right! Not cool!

The campground was quiet and our site was easily accessible with our truck pulling our 17ft camping trailer. The bathrooms were good. Also, the campground host was very friendly. I would stay here again.

Good size campsites with pull-throughs for your vehicle. Lovely wooded campground near McDonald lake. Conveniently-placed bathrooms and water spigots.
