Beautiful campground with walking/bike trails and nice village amenities. Avalanche Lake hike highly recommended, as well as the opportunity to bike on the Road to the Sun without car traffic.
Camp hosts (loop C) Karen, Jody and Bernie were lovely!

We live in a 37-foot Class A motorhome and we were able to get a few days at Apgar. It was fantastic. We were back in nature without hookups, but did not need them. The bathrooms were clean, but did not use the showers, mainly because they were not really accessible to our campsite and so few of them. The campsite host was great...answered all of our questions and very personable. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Great location with easy access to trails, Apgar Village, the visitor center, and bathrooms. The only drawback for me as a tent camper was the generator noise from nearby RVs. More tent-only sites and a little extra spacing between campsites would make the experience even better.

We absolutely loved this place! Perfectly situated inside GNP. Easy walks to Apag Village and the visitor center. Great spot to stay if you are driving the "going to the sun road."
Would 100% stay here again!

Apgar is a beautiful and well maintained campground. Apgar village right on the lake is a perfect place to relax and adds comfort and convenience to the camping experience. We loved staying there!

Great location for sure! Most sites feel spacious and reasonably spread out. Loved the staff. Although the shower was clean and HOT there is a need for more for such a large camp.
