Overall, a very good experience. But the showers could have more capacity and be cleaner.

Great spot to camp. Can avoid being stuck in the morning entrance line by staying inside the park.
Only con…trash truck picks up and slams down 2 dozen bear proof dumpsters every morning at 7am. Sounds like an explosion each time.

We enjoyed Apgar, but it’s definitely a big & busy place. Our site (D158) was close to the road & group camping - and the group camping was loud while we were there. Close to the bathrooms & hikes & Apgar village were easily accessible.

Beautiful setting and the best amphitheater I've seen in a National Park.

The campsite was on a terrible slant and leveling blocks could only do so much. Many other campsites were also far from level. It was brutally hot and no electrical and short generator hours meant a very uncomfortable stay.

We recently stayed at site B110 and had a really pleasant stay! Here is the quick breakdown of what to expect if you book this spot:
* The Perks: The site is beautiful, nice, and wonderfully shaded. The location is also incredibly convenient. You are just a short walk away from both the restrooms and the fresh water source.
* The Space: Keep your setup minimal. This site is suited for one tent. There simply isn't enough flat, usable ground to comfortably pitch a second tent.
If you are a solo camper, a couple, or a group with a single-tent setup, B110 is a fantastic, convenient choice. If you have a multi-tent crew, you'll want to look for a slightly larger site!

Its in a great location and the sites are a decent size. Overall it was a good stay, buy some of the facilities are a huge inconvenience. There are only 3 showers for the whole campground and they are all located in one building in one spot, so the furthest loops have to walk a long ways and then wait in line for the showers. Also, there are really limited places to wash dishes/dump dishwater.
