It was excellent until the last night. We had a bear behind our tent on loop A37

A35 private, large site. Close to lake. Freshwater tap close by, toilets a slightly longer walk. It is on a bend, so headlights from cars driving around the loop was a little disruptive, alongside noise from the road. Some generator noise still at midnight. Rangers were friendly and informative. Nice to be walking distance from shops and restaurants for 1 night after camping for week on the east side of the park, but 1 night was probably enough, unless you have young children or are not hikers. Nice to chill by the lake.

Post a time limit on the showers. Be respectful. When there is a line do not take a 30 minute shower!

Good, level campsite in the biggest campground in Glacier NP! It can get a little loud here, but the accessibility to Lake McDonald and West Glacier/Going to the Sun Road is amazing.

Good spot. Convenient to lake and going to the sun road. Bathroom clean and close. Only downside is only 3 showers for 300ish sites meant waits no matter the time of day but not many other campgrounds near by had showers at all so I’ll take it.

I absolutely loved this campground! We booked 4 days before our trip (Scary, I know!) but we got a beautiful site with enough room for our large tent and group of 6. The free showers were a great bonus! I would recommend if you are planning on using them, to go at weird times during the day. The Campground hosts and rangers were all so pleasant as well! Would definitely recommend for your first time to Glacier!

Beautiful campground with attentive park rangers. The showers were great too. The only downside were campers not adhering to quiet hours.
