We were close to the showers... BUT, there are only 3 showers for the whole Apgar campgrounds. Please add more showers, waiting lines can be informative and create connections to other guests but, everyone (or at least 3 out of 4) prefer to shower before sleep. I personally want to shower before setting campfire so smoke smell from my pajamas could possibly deter the bears from nipping at me.
Other than showers we loved it. We will be back.

Check-in was quick and easy. The campsite was amazing. The campground was clean and tidy and so are the bathrooms.

Beautiful place. It had been 57 years since I last visited Glacier and the first time for my wife.

One of our best experiences in a National Park campground! The campground hosts/volunteers were absolutely wonderful with not a single exception - we loved talking with them and learning about the park and area. The site was just large enough for our 32-foot camper and tow vehicle, and provided us just enough privacy to enjoy the beauty that is Glacier. For such a large campground with a high number of sites, we never felt we were crowded in or infringed upon. The restrooms are clearly old and dated, but kept as clean as possible given their age. While the tree cover kept us from getting much solar to recharge our batteries, the fair generator hours were enough to get the job done. Overall Glacier has now rocketed to the top to be our most favorite national park, and we're already making plans to come back next year. Thanks for everyone for making such a great experience.

While campground was a zoo.
Loud, motorcycle riding at 9pm through campground. People yelling playing loud music. Not a peaceful getaway.
Left early and went to east side.

We were at site 73, the site was reasonably flat and semi shaded and there was a tent square there as well as plenty of room for our RV. The only semi complaint I had is the door is on the wrong side to the picnic table but it's only a minor inconvenience. We would definitely do that again and probably will! It's wonderful that there is a walking path right to The visitor center where you can catch shuttles. (If you can get tickets for them but that's another story altogether!!)

Campground itself is nice. Be prepared to wait in a long line to shower.

We really appreciate all of the work that NPS employees and volunteers do to keep the campsite going, especially in the current times. Our campsite was in walking distance of several nice trails and we liked being able to walk to the West Glacier Visitor Center and amphitheater for ranger programs (which were all top-notch--excellent interpreters). It was a beautiful place to stay.

You NEED soap in the bathrooms! Every other campground in Glacier has soap except Apgar. ADD soap & fix broken hand dryers!!
