We had a great time at Apgar campground. It's walking distance to Lake McDonald, the Visitors Center and Apgar Village. It's a really big campground but it was very quiet. We got to do the Going to the Sun Road and it wasn't too busy. The restrooms did need some attention as the Women's bathroom closest to our campground was closed most of our stay. Lot's of Camp Hosts around,

With the increase in fees one would expect camping facilities. Bathrooms left much to be desired because faucets either didn’t work or were malfunctioning. Facilities in “Loop B” at Apgar said they were handicap accessible but were far from it and they all need to be improved. Even the picnic tables could use some maintenance(paint).

Loved everything about our stay at Apgar, except that there are only 2 showers.

Apgar is a shaded campground in the heart of Glacier National Park. The site was large enough for my RV. I was able to keep my batteries charged with the generator hours.

The well-maintained campsites are amongst trees and large enough not to be feel cramped in against neighbours. No showers that I could find and very poor AT&T signal.

The campsite in Apgar was clean and was available on time.
We appreciated that generators were only allowed during specified times.

Great campground. Loved being do close to the lake and the visitor center. The camphosts are the best! So nice and helpful. NO cell coverage.
