Having only 3 showers for the entire campground, and no direct path to walk there without having to walk all the way around on the road, was really the only downside here. We got slightly unlucky and had a site that was just a bit sloped, which made setting up our tent a little difficult, but really overall it’s a great campground! Super close to the visitor center and Apgar village, which is really convenient too. We walked each night down to the amphitheater and watched sunset at Lake McDonald and stayed for awhile to watch the stars come out - it’s incredible how much you can see with little light pollution!

Was a great campground. Really enjoyed our time there. Wish they had more showers though.
