Very convenient campground. They have showers in the A loop. Sites are spaced per well. We were able to have campfires! Most of the parks we visited this trip had burn bans.

It was wonderful to be camping in such a central location to the village, shuttle system, GTTSR, and more. We loved attending the ranger programs in the evening, overlooking the lake and sunset. Going for walks along the beach and having coffee (or ice cream!) with a view was spectacular. Within the campground, the campground hosts and volunteers were very present and available. We encountered some snow one day and received information from our host to warn us and update us on road closures. We will absolutely be choosing Apgar for our next Glacier trip and will recommend to anyone having a visit!

ranger was helpful. Showers had persistent hot water (awesome!). Needs more showers (only 3 for a rather large campsite). We had to wait as long as 45 min in line to shower. We stayed at apgar 2 separate nights at 2 locations, and one of the campsites had a poor area for tent.

We tent camped here, and were surrounded by RVs on all sides. The sites are close together, but somehow that made us feel safe. There is a gravel driveway on which we set up the tent. I really liked this campground, especially due to its close proximity to Apgar Village and West Glacier restaurants. I would love to be back!

Nice campground, village nearby was nice - West Glacier and surrounding communities were nice (visited on the one rainout day). Only complaint is the campground was billed as having showers. There were NO showers in the C loop, only three in the A loop that I could find - and lines were long.
