We were lucky to get a camp spot with the 4 day "rolling window". The sites were well spaced. We had to walk everywhere because we had a motorhome and no bikes, but it was ok. Unfortunately, the fires made the air almost unbearable. We will had a good time.

Great base campground to explore the west side of the park and enjoy the Lake McDonald.

The campsites are very close together. The campground was loud and it was hard to fall asleep at night. Not everyone was obeying quiet hours. The bathrooms need updating. Only loop A has showers so if your campsite is in a different loop don’t expect a shower unless you walk a far way.

this site had some slide out issues, too narrow for my 24ft motorhome with slide out. somewhat level. would not choose this site again.

Campsites were not packed close to each other plus lots of trees. Close to Lake McDonald was another added bonus.

Hot showers were the best after our long hiking days. Also the shuttle was so convenient for getting to and from the Highland trail.

Beautiful and well maintained. We would have liked more space between campsites but we understand trying to maximize spots. Lake McDonald is so beautiful and we really appreciated the bike path to the Visitor center, Apgar village and West Glacier.
