Great site, great hosts. As with other NPS campsites, facilities are tired, and we know why. Staff and volunteers are doing an amazing job of holding it together.

Good experience. Very friendly Park Rangers. Clean Showers, though only in one loop. Very conveniently located close to the Visitor Center and Bus Station and Apgar Village all within close walking distance

The Apgar Campground is located in a wonderful spot near Lake McDonald. It is a larger campground and the sites are not very private. The size of the campground and close proximity of each site may be problematic for those with asthma, sinus issues, or smoke allergy/sensitivities, as there is a pervasive smell of campfire smoke that is quite noticeable. Also, there are only 3 shower stalls in the campground, which is definitely not enough. Otherwise, pleasant place to stay, and the rangers were wonderful.

Great place to get on GTTS shuttle. Can ride bikes a fair amount, Fish Creek trail, trails to river etc. Nature Center great. Astronomy volunteer talk was good but rather crowded.
