Beautiful place to go to connect and enjoy nature and the simple things. I am fine with no electricity and sharing washhouse/restrooms and the rustic environment. My only complaint is not having places for grey water on each section or at each washhouse. It was a challenge bing the only adult with 3 children and having to haul them up with the bin and deal with rainy weather so had to go off in a vehicle to go deal with grey water or wash dishes, 3 times a day versus just run quick down to the loop washhouse or a grey water dump tank. Otherwise time spent there was all good.

It’s a good location for being able to walk to visitors center , Apgar village, & catching shuttle. Easy access driving to Going to the sun road.

We lucked into a spot for one night. Site A59 is perfect for a tent. Very short walk over to McDonald Lake which is beautiful! The men’s toilet not working is our only complaint!

The campsite was beautiful in that there were lots of trees surrounding it.
What I found challenging was that there was no place to wash dishes or a picnic shelter of any type when it was raining.
I was not expecting this but there was no wifi in the area.

We were in B115 site which was listed as a severe grade. It does have a severe (by NPS standards) grade on the entrance but our 18ft. camper was level at the half way point of the site and still had room for our pickup parked behind the camper. The camp site was clean and in good condition. We had the water hydrant right across from the campsite and the water was good and clean. Lots of shade in this site which was great for keeping the camper cool during the day but our solar chargers were incapable of giving us any battery recharge. We were able to take a short drive to the picnic area to launch our kayak, which had a nice put in site, shallow, clear and lots of colorful rocks.

Camp site was clean and we had enough privacy from other campers. Showers are located in group A if you are needing a hot shower at the end of the day.
