We really enjoyed camping at Fish Creek - especially hiking out to Rocky Point on the peaceful trail through the forest along the lake. Though the website said our campsite was large enough for our camper trailer, it was a very tight squeeze - a challenge for my husband who has pulled, maneuvered and parked many trailers….so beware!

Great weekend for making camping memories. The grounds are awesome. The Hosts were exceptional. Just a fabulous time for us and our friends camping together. This is our 3rd memorial day camping trip. We will make it a 4th next year.

Fish Creek Campground Loop A28 was a great spot for our tent. The running creek sound behind our site was soothing. It was great to have hot showers after our hikes. We had most of our meals at the nearby Fish Creek picnic area by McDonald lake. The nearby hikes we did were Apgar lookout, Huckleberry lookout (take insect repellant). We enjoyed driving to Polebridge (has a great bakery) and visiting the North Fork entrance (Bowman lake). Logan pass was closed (end of May). We were able to drive upto the Avalanche lake trail - this hike is amazing, as are the trails by Sacred Dancing Cascades and St John's lake.

The only negative thing I can think of about this campsite was the mosquitos. But hey - they were large and slow!

Thrilled to snag a last minute reservation for inside Glacier NP! Really appreciate how they’ve changed the reservation system to allow a few reservations just prior to the planned visit- giving travelers some much appreciated flexibility without the stress of depending on first come first serve options. The B loop has densely packed sites- some more so than others. B61 was on a slope making it a challenge to level our class C. But all worth it to be inside the park!

clean bathrooms, there are only showers in the A loop and there are only 4 showers total, however showers were never busy when we went, there are shared bear boxes (not one per campsite, campsites were nice!

We got in late, but easily found out site. It's right behind the bathrooms/showers. This meant people thought it was ok to continually walk through our site.
Lots of trees & mosquitoes. Wish I had packed better bug spray - definitely needed deet at this campground.
Short walk to the lake, which was beautiful in the morning! Camping host said a little bear was poking around, but we didn't see him.

Great campground with nicely private sites. About 30 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone. Would definitely stay again.
