The site itself is very large and spacious, and it seemed as though most were. While there were many trees on and around the sites, there is not much privacy. Our site did not have a bear box, which we did not know; this was also surprising given its in bear country. Across from us there was a restroom with running water, which was very clean and well-kept.

Everything about this campsite was wonderful except the shower facility accessibility. Showers are only available at the A loop with no parking for campers from the other loops. More shower facilities need to be available for such a large campsite.

Everything about this area is amazing. We travellled with 2 preeteen girls and all of us had a great time with hikes, exploration and paddleboarding of course. I hear the horseback roding is amazing... but a weight limit of 225 lb pretty much eliminates most men.

The spot we had was awkward to access and too tight of a space. Website made it sound like shower was out of service but there never were showers. We were able to access showers in another campground but it was ice cold. Worst part was there was not enough bear boxes. We had to pack up the entire campsite every day to leave.

We had a group of 8 and had a blast. We got lucky with being close to the restrooms. We stayed in K loop one night and D loop the next night

I’m a local and like to go to glacier all the time. This was my first time camping at fish creek and I ran into some old friends! Was a fun experience even just for one night, cute place to bring a floaty or kayak and take a quick walk down to the water to go explore the area by foot.

All of the tree stumps were pulled up out of the ground so there wasn’t much space to set up a large tent. The campers next to us had left out food prep stuff and candles. Fortunately someone addressed the issue while they were gone but they still left food prep stuff out overnight which made us not feel safe.

Amazing and super affordable location. The campsite was pretty cramped for a group of 8 friends! We had no trouble being close together but our tents were certainly squished. We were also incredibly close to our nextdoor neighbors and any conversation could be heard from all the campsites around us. We did get a little bit loud at one point (apologies to those around us). The rangers on site were incredibly nice and did several rounds in all of the loops everyday to check on folks. My only wish was that there were more pictures of the site available and info about the amount of space as well, as we had trouble squishing together at first. We settled down pretty easy afterwards however, and we were right along lake McDonald which was a lovely spot to hang out and get more personal space!

It would be nice if the loop C had showers.
