Site was big enough for our 4 person text. We didn’t have a fire since the tent pad was close to the fire ring. We were able to walk down to lake McDonald from our site to enjoy the views, swim, watch the sunset. Bathrooms were nice. Showers in loop A were also nice to have access to.

We were fortunate and grateful to have 3 nights in Fishcreek Campground. We booked this very last minute and were in three different sites, but that was ok with us! It was great getting to stay inside of Glacier NP and be near Apgar Village and Lake McDonald. The sites were nice, the hosts were very attentive, bathrooms were adequate and good access to clean drinking water as well as a nice dump station. Highly recommend this location!

Sites can be small, however under cover of the forest offering privacy. Lake access was great. The bath house could use updating, and the number of available showers were too few for the number of sites.

If you're like me, one of those crazy people who likes to camp despite having arachnophobia, don't camp here. Tons of spiders, some of which would beeline into my tent the moment I opened it. Permethrin treatments did nothing. Mosquitos everywhere.
The campground is also very crowded, with very little space between sites. The general atmosphere didn't feel like something we'd drive 800 mi to experience. We ended up leaving the first night and moving to a different campground and having a much better time there.

The campground was clean and well-organized. The Rangers and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. We were thrilled that there was a trail down to the day use area. Everyone was respectful of everyone else. We didn't see any bears - yay!
