Overall, we had a good stay, but this site is much better suited for a camper van or trailer than for tent camping.
The location was excellent. Lake McDonald was extremely close, the bathrooms were nearby, and having potable water right at the site was very convenient. The bathrooms were generally clean, and it was nice to have flush toilets. There are also showers in Loop A, although they are a fairly long walk across the campground unless you drive. The no-generator loop was peaceful and quiet. There was also a good amount of space and some trees between us and the campsites on either side, so we did not feel like we were right on top of our neighbors.
The biggest problem was the site itself. It was fairly small, very sloped, and lacked a designated tent pad. We had a difficult time finding enough usable space for two tents, especially because of the slope. We also had to set up directly on hard, sharp rocks. The rocks poked holes through the tarps underneath the tents and even caused a couple of small holes in the bottom of the tent. Walking or kneeling inside the tents was also painful and uncomfortable because of the rocky ground.
This probably would have been a four- or five-star site for someone staying in a van or trailer. For tent camping, especially with more than one tent, the small size, steep slope, and rocky ground made it a difficult and uncomfortable site.

Awesome campground. Loved being close enough to the lake to walk. Bathroom was a short distance but not so close that you hear all the foot traffic in and out. Would've preferred a pull-through site, but this was still good parking. I wouldn't recommend a trailer bigger than 20 ft, we ended up just using a tent but I can't imagine being able to actually park a trailer of any reasonable size. Maybe a pop-up?

Really a hidden gem. Quiet. Many sites with privacy and shade.

Overall, the experience at Fish Creek was great. Camp spots were easily accessible, flat, and well spaced from others. Only the A loop has showers, but all loops have flush toilets which is a great bonus when you have been in the park all day. Only downside was the temperature of the showers, which was very cold.

Campground was beautiful! Our site had trees for 4 hammocks. It was a short walk to the bathroom and lake. The showers were fantastic!

Campground was ok. Our site was on a steep ledge down to the river and we have 6 children. That should have definitely been mentioned in the description. Toilets were ok. Noise level was ok. The site was slanted and rocky. Lots of stumps. For an RV it might be ok but as a tent site it was ridiculous
