Site 166 was great and very private. Other sites were much less private and seemed to have a lot more guests and vehicles than are allowed. The rangers walking around to check people in were excellent and very helpful. The show in the amphitheatre was really great! The campground was pretty noisy after midnight with many people partying well into the night. Toilets were good. Only one shower for the whole campground, which we didn't check out as it was not near our site and we expected that it would be very crowded. Overall, great campground but could be a bit better managed.

This was a big and relatively busy campground. Bathrooms were a little bit of a walk from our site, but they were clean and not too crowded. Most sites were in the woods, so not a lot of views, but still a nice campground with easy access to the park. We also enjoyed the evening ranger program at the amphitheater.

Such a peaceful campground. Nicely shaded but touches of sunlight on those hot summer days. Paths from campground D to the lake. Path from campground A & D via the amphitheater. Would stay here again no question!

Nice campground with lots to do nearby. Only downfall is the showers are located in a different loop and you have to park and walk up a steep hill to get there. They have 3 working showers for a huge campground which made it difficult to have enough time to shower. The host is loop C was great and it was a peaceful spot. Would camp here again!

Loved our site right by Lake McDonald. Rangers were friendly and full of info. Other campers were extremely quiet and respectful. Best public campground experience I’ve ever had!

Sites for the most part are pretty shaded. A lot of activities and sites to see. It is a little difficult and tight for travel trailers, but it is doable. Camp Host were very helpful!

The campground is well maintained and bathrooms are spotless. Sites are pretty
well separated by vegetation. We still camp in a tent, but many seem to be camped in vans, campers and RV's, which seems to make things quieter at night. There are showers in the A loop, which are very clean with plenty of hot water.
