Our campsite had no camp pad for a tent and we literally had to put our tent on the parking spot/drive through which was a hill and not flat at all. This site (LoopB#59) should really be listed as a no tent option. It was the worst site in the entire campground. Also the showers were such a walk- even with being able to park at the amphitheater. No bear boxes either- although they say they have community ones they're not plentiful or located close enough to make it worth using.

I loved the site! We had a nice spacious and flat site for our tents. Additives by trees and I could hear the creek flowing just down the hill. I would totally stay there again! The facilities were nice as well.

Amazing tree covered shade. Quiet and peaceful place. Tight in and out. Our 30 ft truck camper felt maxed out

Our site was perfect! Quiet and close to the bathroom. Great shade and so much space! The roads in and out of the campground were GREAT. Perfectly paved and cleared. We went to the Ranger Talk at 9:00pm and it was wonderful. The Ranger was a great speaker and super engaging with guest of all ages.

Our camping spot was nice (B77). You do have to go up a little hill to get to the bathroom, so that’s probably something to know for some. The presentation at the amphitheater was interesting. Definitely recommend.

Loved it here! The rangers were kind and their nightly presentations in the amphitheater were educational and fun! The sites were all close to the lake McDonald and trails and easy access to the going to sun road. We had an excellent time

We camped in spot C135. We had a popup trailer and truck and it worked beautifully. There was a pull-through driveway with a tent spot off to the side of the drive. The drive had a slight slope, but we used balancing blocks. We were able to put up 2 hammocks over the tent area with the trees and one further back in. It was a quiet place with bathrooms (port-a-potties because the bathrooms were being redone), garbage and bear boxes close but not too close. Volunteer Rangers walked through on the regular.

Nice and campground in the woods and very near Apgar where you gave a restaurant and a shop. You can also rent a bike or a kayak.
