Lot of sites are unlevel and your away from everything so if you want that it’s good. Our bathrooms for the whole loop were out of service so we had to use portables.

Glacier National Park is one of the most favorite park among a few other ones. There are a few things that are a must when you visit the park. The Avalanche lake is one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen. The hike is about 4 mi round trip. The second thing is Going to the Sun road. You can either drive up with your own car or go up on one of those red busses. Parking is a big problem for this park so we went up on a red bus. It was fantastic. The next activity we went on was a boat ride on the lake. It was great. Last but not least, you have to try the huckleberry ice cream in the park!

We stayed on the D loop in a site that backed up to the creek. It was delightful. The rangers were super helpful and we loved being close to lake access.

Fish Creek is a beautiful campground that is well located for Glacier activities and is well-maintained. It is easy to take day hikes from the campground and to launch kayaks into MacDonald Lake. We can bike to Apgar Village for a meal or supplies.

Campsite is extremely small, with barely space to place a small tent. Due to construction on nearby restroom, a dumpster was placed on our site blocking the drive. Both of these things make it difficult to practice good bear safety, keeping odors away from tent / sleep gear. All restrooms in our loop were under construction and replaced with portapots. There was no running water, so no ability to wash hands and no place to dump dishwater except for the portapot. Again, that makes it more difficult to practice good bear safety. Shower was cold. Not just lukewarm, it was cold. Shower house does not have parking so requires a walk over uneven ground through wooded area. Not a huge problem for us but would be for some others. This campground was a significantly worse experience than St. Mary and Many Glacier

Campsite was beautiful, bathrooms were conveniently located and clean, the only negative was the showers had no hot water. We wouldn’t even mind paying for showers if the water was hot!

Really nice campground and safe. You are on the edge to a running creek but it’s not scary like you will fall. Felt private and bathrooms were clean.

The campground was clean and relatively quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was disappointing to find that the bathroom in our loop was closed upon arrival, but an agent at Recreation.Gov was able to find a different site that was more spacious for our needs. Much gratitude to her. Don't expect to take a hot shower. Showers are limited, and frigid (at least in the afternoon).
