I had to pay the Glacier entry fee, which doubled the cost, then the shower was broken in my area, but the staff complained when I parked by the other area’s showers. There are to many NP staff with nothing better to do; just camp outside the NP.

Quiet, clean and amazing! Rangers were super helpful. We brought two dogs with us and didn’t know we couldn’t use the dirt trails, but they enjoyed walking around the campsite. Would definitely recommend!

The site has a steeper grade then the website says it does. If you are using leveling blocks you’ll definitely need two sets. We have a converted travel van and it was really hard to get it leveled out enough to sleep flat.
Other than that, it has great privacy and is directly adjacent from the bathrooms. I also loved how close it was to a trail along lake McDonald.

Stayed in the C Loop, which I think is the better area for camping due to its easy access to the lake. There are plenty of water spigots throughout the campground. The restrooms were closed for construction during my stay, but portable toilets were available. Showers are available in the A Loop, though it's a bit of a walk from C Loop.

Very beautiful campground, and our camp spot felt pretty private despite the proximity to many other campsites. Good amenities and a very friendly host!
