Great campsite! Very clean bathrooms and the rangers went above and beyond to help us with finding sites in the park!

Fish Creek is great, our campsite was just feet from Lake McDonald. Fantastic. Lost of tall pine trees for shade. The Park Rangers were great, answered ALL my questions. Just a few minutes to the beginning of Going to the Sun Road. AND .. if you stay at Fish Creek you don't need a ticket to use the road. Just show your reservation printed out and your park pass. So the ONLY thing.. the facilities are dated. Like.. they really need an update. The bathroom services quite a few campsites and for the men there's 1 urinal and 1 toilet. There's 4 showers for the ENTIRE campground and only in loop A. We lucked out most nights but when we came out there were many people waiting. Also 1 of the showers mostly had cold water. Also you either walk pretty far and get sweaty on the way back (2022 was a heat wave) or you park and take a path. If the facilities could be updated the place would be fantastic.

The park rangers were very friendly and helpful. We arrived mid-afternoon and got one of the last two FF sites. Great site, very clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean, too! Would absolutely stay at this park again!

The bike path to the visitor center and buses was helpful.

The campground was very clean and tidy. The sites had plenty of room and nice firepits and picnic tables. Water spigots and restrooms were conveniently located. My only complaint is the lack of shower facilities. To have only 4 showers for ALL 4 LOOP in Fish Creek is just ridiculous. On top of that there is no parking allowed, so it is hike uphill through the mosquito infested woods from the parking at the amphitheater to the showers. We often had to wait in long lines with many other campers. Each loop should have its own shower house. If that were the case it would be the perfect campground.

Beautiful clean sites and bathrooms. Well cared for by rangers and hosts. Easy access to the picnic area and trails around the lake without having to drive.

Camp Sites were well kept, potable water was close to nearly every site and restrooms were clean. We had a very pleasant stay.

I was in site A20. I like A loop and the D loop. The C not as much and did not like the B loop. A20 was not the best though. There is absolutely no privacy. It is on the inside of the loop. The outside would be better. Still I do like the campground. It's beautiful and so close to the lake. The shower was never ever hot, just barely warm. That's what keeps it from being 5 star. ALSO it was just hot. I think they should just allow generators all day. We had to check out early due to the heat. It's sad but the climate is warming and they need to adjust in August.

Clean, spacious campsites and bathrooms. Well spaced sites, for a National Park. Courteous, helpful staff.
