This is a beautiful campground, and we had a wonderful stay. The size and privacy of the sites varies widely though. This is a smaller site, and it is right across from a path to the lake, so there is more foot and vehicle traffic - people often drove others to the lake and dropped them off at the trail. As someone else pointed out, one neighbor’s fire pit is pretty close to the tent set up location. We lucked out that no one had a fire in it while we were there.

It’s a nice campground but our loop’s bathrooms were closed for maintenance at the time.

Rangers were great. Bathrooms were clean. Campsites were spacious and of course great access to park. One thing to note you need a pass for Many Glaciers which was new unless you enter prior to 6 or after 3, and you have to log in the night before not morning of like the pass for GTTS. Wifi at the Apgar visitors center 6a to 10p

Had a great time camping here, proximity to popular areas of the park is awesome (just make sure to get your road reservations in advance) and it was a short walk to lake McDonald from our site. Would have loved a lakeside spot but just happy to get anything! I was prepared/bracing for the bathroom closure but there’s actually a path through the woods over to B loop that was near us so using that restroom wasn’t too inconvenient. I did use the port-a-potty once and it was clean. Partway through our stay the C bathrooms opened up so that was extra nice. No dishwashing stations is annoying, but they have dump stations for wastewater. Our site fit our small tent great but a bigger tent could be harder. Long pull-through parking spot, and tons of shade. No wood sales at fish creek but there was wood in the Apgar area. Heard rumors of a fire ban coming as we were checking out.

Our site, 143 was very unlevel and next to the restrooms. The restrooms were closed so we had to use port-a potties. The trails were great. Also the programs in the amphitheater were very good.

The toilets in our loop were not open causing serious discomfort. The provided porta potties were disgusting. Having to walk or drive to a different loop to use the toilets and sinks was unacceptable.

Glad to stay in a campground that has showers, and they need some maintenance. One of out of order and the other three can't be shut off all the way and need new shower heads. Loved our spot, and love the Park.

I love Fish Creek Campground. It's beautifully lined with many pine and cedar trees. Very easy to walk to Lake McDonald. Campground Hosts and Check In people were very friendly and helpful. Great vibes in the area. The recycling program they have is fantastic and appreciated. The showers were nice to have, though they were not considered warm at all, but quite refreshing. The only things in our stay that prohibited a 5 star rating is that our A01 site's tent pad was only about 30 ft or less from our direct neighbor's tent pad. We heard their conversations LOUDLY, which was a bit annoying. If you have an RV or camper, you'll be fine. And bathroom wise, in the A loop, there is only one pooper, so expect to wait a bit to do your business. With this being said, I can't wait to get back to Fish Creek. It's a wonderful campground.
