Beautiful well kept campground. Very close to lake mcdonald. Be warned this campsite does not give you access to the park. Still need a vehicle reservation.

Campsite was not flat. Other than the challenges that presented for sleeping, all was very good.

This was a fantastic campsite right next to the lake. There was a small path that led to the shore of the lake with a small pebbly beach… it was amazing. The bathroom closest to us was closed for maintenance, which was a pain, but the bigger pain was having to haul our cooking items to the next closest facility for washing. This was a major inconvenience. If it were not for this, 5+ star for the site itself.

Overall it's a really great campsite. Ideal location near the Apgar Visitor's Center and the shuttle to Going-to-the-Sun hikes. There was a mixup with our reserved spot when we arrived, but we were able to sort it out. Hosts are extremely helpful and eager to answer any questions about the park. There were three showers to be shared with the whole loop, but otherwise, all amenities were excellent and clean!

The campground is well maintained and the hosts and NP employees were very helpful. Two of three campsites were great for tent camping. One was slanted, unfortunately, forcing us to pitch our tent in the “driveway” portion of the site. Lastly, the showers are only available in Loop A and the water is freezing. Made for one very cold shower! Avoided it for the rest of the stay!
Will stay here again now that we know which sites to request. Will also plan to take showers in town.

The US national park service campgrounds are overall in poor shape, but the facilities at Fish Creek Campground are pretty much the worst I've experienced. The positive aspect of this campground is the location. Other than that, the campsites lack privacy in spite of the trees, the bathrooms are on their last legs and the shower facilities are decrepit. The Apgar Village and West Glacier nearby were quaint when first built in the 1920's, but are now overrun with tourists and provide little in the form of camping practicalities. The businesses there do provide restaurant services and trinket shopping. Make sure to stock up on necessities in neighboring towns. Glacier NP is spectacular though and worth the annoyance of a run-down camping facility. Do your homework, make your reservations for camping and vehicle passes at the earliest possible time or your activities within the park could be severely limited.

Location was great! Staff was super helpful! we stayed in loop A and loop D and both were quiet and wooded. Sites were large. The only thing that would have made it better is if loop D had showers and if the showers in loop A would have been working. Would absolutely stay at this campground again
