Fish Creek Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting near Lake McDonald, with clean facilities, hot showers, and friendly camp hosts. Many guests appreciate the campground's proximity to the lake and hiking trails, making it a convenient base for exploring Glacier National Park. We camped in the C loop for three nights in August. It was a nice and quiet campground given how many spots they had. Access to potable water and bathroom facilities was good too. We enjoyed being close to Lake MacDonald and swam/paddle boarded there too. We had to get the water craft inspected nearby and it was not too time consuming.

Fish Creek is my favorite campsite in Glacier National Park. It is right by the shore of Lake McDonald and Fish creeks babbling waters. It's quiet and beautiful. We even had some deer visitors while we were eating breakfast. It's a dream for campers. The only downside is that only loop A has showers, if you're camping in the other loops you are allowed to use the showers, but the lake is right there too!

It was a great experience. Only 2 small issues, "Showers" Large campground only having 5ish showers. (everyone is loving the park) meaning hiking all day then to come back to a line to take a cold shower. #2 generator hours stop at 7pm....not a big deal but again we are talking "Glacier NP" who's sitting at the camp site running their generator to charge batteries when there is soo much to do in the park. I would argue for the experience of Glacier you just deal with these two complaints. Although one of them could be changed very easily.

I loved this little campground. The sites are very close to each other and some of them are really on uneven ground, but my site was great. The bugs weren't a problem (in August) and the location is fantastic. Glacier National Park is fantastic.

Loop D is the best. The only downside is there is only one bathhouse for all 4 loops. I had to track dow n a ranger to find the walking path to it. We had deer come through our site on the way to the creek and enjoyed the sound of the creek at night!

First time visiting the park. Hope to return many more times. Really enjoyed the ranger programs each evening at the amphitheater. Very informative, and well done.

The camp ground was awesome. It was quiet and a very relaxing atmosphere, that was very close to the Apgar Visitors Cemter and Apgar Village. The ONLY negative for us, was the sloped site for our travel trailer. This is not true for all of the spots, but was for ours and we only had a 16 1/2’ TT.
There is no water hook ups, except for your water bottles. There is a dump station by the entrance/exit.

This was a great campsite, very quiet area of the campground when we were there. Large enough to set up our 12x15 tent easily with room to spare. There is access to walk on the lakefront farther down Loop C. Only downside is that the only showers are in Loop A, but we were able to park in the amphitheater parking lot to save some walking to and from the showers.

The campground was great other than the shower situation. There are only showers on loop A which are quite far from the other loops and there is no parking at the showers. You may want to just jump in the lake though because they are literally the most disgusting and dirty showers I have ever seen in my life!

Easy and fast check-in process, the campsite was clean, and the bathrooms were clean and accessible. Excellent experience overall!
