We camped at Fish Creek loop D, site #166 for 3 nights. The site is quiet, right on the creek and an easy stroll to the lake. I loved it! A short drive to Apgar Village made it easy to get supplies and eat out. The food at Eddie's Cafe was great. I didn't give it a five because of the shower situation. There are 4 showers located in Loop A for all 176 campsites, but 2 of them were out of order. Compare to the 2 nights we stayed at Waterton Lakes where they had 2 or 3 bath houses in each loop, 7 showers in each. (3 men and 3 women plus one handicapped with a huge walk -in/roll-in shower) Our much loved parks need more funding!

Amenities were really limited. Only 4 showers for the entire campground, which were about as far away from our Loop as could be. 2 of the 4 were closed for maintenance while we were there. Also no dishwashing facilities in camp or bear boxes in each site, as are common in Yellowstone and Grand Teton.

Beautiful campground! Everyone was friendly and respectful, and the ranger came by frequently to alert us about weather, bears, etc. We did have a black bear frequenting the area, so it's important to keep food and anything scented locked in a vehicle. If you come with dogs, you need to keep a very close eye on them.

Not for tents- not even not great for them but not for tents. My son had a smaller one and barely found a very rocky spot to put it for a night. Then we abandoned it and found another spot (which was great. 108 as I recall).

Great site. A little rocky like lots of them (get a scout troop to move them???) but very close to the lake and super peaceful.

All the rangers were friendly and helpful - facilities were adequate - our family had the best time!

Great camping spot. Placement of rubber mats would be helpful for the shower areas or recommend bringing your own water-type shoes to avoid the muddy water adjacent to/in the showers.

It's a beautiful campground and our spot was a short walk down to Lake Mcdonald. My criticism is focused on aged bathrooms, showers and the dump station for Fish Creek. I needed to dump when I got there but the whole arae was flooded and if I chose to walk through 4 inches of water to do so I would have let hundreds of gallons of run off water into the sewage tank. I know budgets have been frozen but I feel the more letters like this written should eventually get some traction

Lakeside was beautiful. Campsites were uneven, packed in and dark under dense trees. Bathhouses, wash facilities and toilets were not operational. Portable toilets were filled to the brim. Four days no showers. This campground does NOT include a pass to the sun road. Needed to obtain a timed entry pass. No internet at campground. We brought a Starlink Mini that we had to leave the campground to find a sky view. It worked great and we were able to get passes.
