This campsite didn't really have a good area for a tent. Also we had terrible neighbors who weren't respectful of the quiet hours. It was sooo nice to have showers nearby though coming out of a backpacking trip. Campsite was walking distance to lake McDonald so it was nice to watch sunset there.

Lovely site, close to the lake and bathrooms (but not too close). Unfortunately the C-loop bathrooms were not working, but the porta potties were always clean and D loop facilities were not too far away.
I have a large tent, and it fitted easily on the site. Some of the others around were much smaller. The access is not suitable for RV trailers or motor homes but would fit a Van fine.
Access to the lake was easy, and I was able to carry my Kayak down easily.
Plenty of shade, which made the site lovely and cool all day, but made my solar panels a bit useless, but I made a plan to keep my solar generator charged to keep my fridge operating.
The camp hosts were fantastic and very helpful and everything was clean and well maintained.
It was a perfect holiday in a beautiful corner of the country.

The bathrooms at loop A were not in order, and clearly had been out of order for some time given that they had porta johns there. Otherwise it was great. But not having bathrooms is a huge issue.

The site (B49 Loop B) is short and quite narrow, even for our 20 ft camper-van. To get level ground we had to back into the “neighbor’s” site. Fortunately, our neighbor was kind and cooperative.
