Many guests appreciate the campground's proximity to the lake and hiking trails, making it a convenient base for exploring Glacier National Park. Thank you Jesus for letting us stay here! Our trailer is 29 ft bumper to hitch, with a slide out and we fit nicely in this spot! We backed in trailer/truck on angle and still had room left for bikes, picnic table under awning and chairs around the firepit. Our trailer has a solar panel on top of roof, and it was able to charge through the trees. The sun does shine in spots on site, but also shade. You can access hiking n biking trails by walking or riding through the campground. If you are over 30 and bike the trail to Apgar and back, you should really feel good about yourself. Hosts/Volunteers come around often (shout out to Terry and Bill!). We had a GNP ranger walk up at site to tell us what was going on that night at the amphitheater. (TIP:: Ask Rangers/Hosts ALL the questions because it's hard (for me) to get ahold of a Ranger/Host when outside of the park-unless you drive up to an entry point somewhere n find someone). There is a dump station, and access to water in hose at dump site (just can't do a black tank flush). If you need water inside the campground to use while you camp, it's not far from this site either! VERY nice spot! This spot really seemed to be the clearest back in site. IMO BEST site in loop B! Would def. recommend and camp at B72 again. Blessings!

Beautiful location next to the lake, site was c116 was fairly level and we didn’t need any levelling blocks. Very close to other sites however and no privacy.

Site backs right onto Fish Creek - about a 5 ft drop into the creek bed. The camp site runs parallel to the river - fire pit is closer to the creek. There is a campground community water source at this site. The ground is very hard for basic tent stakes - I used heavy spikes and a hammer to get into the hard ground. I plan to book this site the next time I go to Glacier. I have 1 to 2 bars on Verison.

Love the campground and the hosts are great. Only complaint, and nothing that can be done about this is have a system to shift sites. We were there four nights and had to move twice.

All you need. Not so much like camping in the nature, but for RV fine

Site needed brush/overhead limb trimming. Pretty small site for just about any rv. Besides that it was a great experience and good camping.

Fish Creek campground was excellent. Camped during second weekend in June. Weather was between 65-75 deg. Short periods of clouds mixed with sun throughout the week despite weather forecasting Tstorms and cold. We got stuck with loop B bc we didn’t plan ahead early enough to get loop C or D which were closer to the water. We “assumed” closer to the water would have to be better but that wasn’t true. All the campsites were heavily wooded so even if you are by the water all you see are trees from your campsite unless you take a short walk down to the water. Loop B was also a short walk/bike/drive to the water so it was fine. Much less busy than Apgar but busier than sites further into the park and first come first serve locations. Our fire pit didn’t come with a grill grate which was novel news for us so plan accordingly. We had park rangers camping in our loop as the “camp hosts” which was super convenient for questions and updates. Didn’t come across any bears (fortunately? Unfortunately? Idk lol) but the command to be bear aware is everywhere so… beware lol. Other than that the experience was fantastic. Glacier was better than advertised and simply an incredible nature experience. People were kind. Rangers we’re helpful and friendly. I look forward to taking my kids some day.
