I'd give it 10/5 if possible.
Staff was friendly, site was great, kids had fun.
Should have brough a little more padding for the ground, as there were some large gravel pieces, but other than that everything was great.

Great location. Close to all activities but not in the middle of them. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Campsites were nice, relatively close to each other, but not bad. nice hikes nearby.

We loved our stay at Fish Creek! The sites were shady and well spaced in Loop C. The hike to the showers in Loop A was beautiful and we never had to wait for a shower. We enjoyed hiking the Rocky Point Trail and swimming in McDonald Lake.

Campground was quiet and peaceful. Several sites on Lake McDonald. Our site was not on the lake but there was a trail diagonal from our site to the lake. Only thing that is inconvenient is only loop A has a shower house and no parking by the shower house so if you are camping in another loop getting a shower is difficult.

Very happy with the campsite. Quiet at night. We had limited cell reception at the campsite with googlefi which was nice. Free Showers in loop A which is a close walk away. NOTE: There is no campfire grill, so we got one on Amazon for $20 to use so we could cook with fire.

The campground was clean and the campers were respectful of others. Our site was on the creek and a pleasant walk to the lake. When we camp, we aren’t sightseeing but rather just taking in the closeness to nature. We were only there for one night so not a lot of time to widely explore.

Clean and well maintained campground - great to be able to jump in the lake for a swim after a day of hiking.

We have visited Fish Creek and camped for over 50 years.
We haven't been able to go for the past 3 years because of the difficulty of getting a reservation! I would warn anyone who has a big rig to not even try to camp because the sites are small and it is difficult to get around the loops which were built before trailers and RVs were.
I feel truly sorry for people who have driven a long distance, and try to get into the park without a reservation or a vehicle permit. The daily permits are available at 8 am the day before and they are gone in 3 minutes!
