Our third visit to the Fish Creek Campground. First in loop A, the loop with showers. Fantastic experience. Have to mention the best maintained facilities we have seen in the last 16 camping trips. Many thanks to the gentleman maintaining them. Like us, he was also from the great state of Illinois. Many thanks.

Truly amazing. Wonderful spot on the creek and near the lake. We loved every minute of it!

This was a nice campsite overall. Our only issue was finding a large enough, flat area for our 16x11 tent, so we had to set it up on a slight slope, which left it sitting a bit crooked.
The restrooms and showers were located across the way from the campsite, and there were stairs right beside the campsite that led down to McDonald Lake.
All in all, it was a good place to camp, and we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay! Sites are very small though, and very, VERY close together. Not everyone likes to follow quiet hours at 10pm and of course there’s always loud children or college-age kids that just are who they are. Otherwise our stay here was great! We liked the proximity to the lake and the bathroom, and also it’s just a short drive to West Glacier for a treat or a little reliable cell service. All the sites in C loop have great shade too. Bring your own dishpan for washing dishes (we forgot one). Then you’ll have to walk your dish water up to the dump station at the bathroom, but that’s better than having the company of any Bear Friends! Beautiful campground, just wish the sites were farther apart. Also white-water rafting was so much fun!

due to an unexpected vehicle emergency, we were unable to make it to Glacier National Park as planned. We have decided to return home to Las Vegas, NV, and we had to cancel all of our existing campground reservations and we plan to visit next year instead.

The sites are pretty close together, but the forest is pretty thick, so it feels a bit more isolated. Lots of children running around making loud noises, but things settle down during quiet hours. Our spot had a couple really nice places to put a tent. Loop C has pretty good lake access too.

We were so pleased with the campground. It was very conveniently located a quick drive from almost all we wanted to do over our week's stay and offered just enough cell connectivity. Our site near the start of the B loop (#36) was relatively private and shady with a nice view into the deep woods, plenty of hammock trees, and a quick walk to the shared amphitheater for fantastic nightly ranger talks (highly recommended) and a very well kept, clean bathroom building. The well water in the campground was surprisingly good as well. Don't forget to visit the east side of the park (the 3 falls trail along St Mary Lake is stunning with easy parking at Sun Point). The Red Bus tours along Going To the Sun Road are also well worth it.
