Always great to get into nature to camp. Brought our tent this trip and was conveniently located to restroom which is good for us old folk. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Gate attendant was friendly and informed us of our duties of being great campers. Ranger doing the evening talk at the amphitheater was excited to give the talk and did a great job.

Our site was right by the river, which was amazing! Also a path to the amphitheater for programs starts right by the site. Showers had warm water and bathrooms were good. Some issues finding level ground for the tent, but I was able to stake it down (other sites we stayed at were too rocky for stakes).

Great camping ground, clean with clear instructions and camp maps to make the stay memorable.
Drinking water availability were placed at frequent distance making it easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay and the calmness.

Terry, Sandy and Darroll were gracious, hard working and super helpful hosts. I don't remember the name of the man cleaning the bathrooms but we appreciated his hard work as well. We saw him cleaning daily in our week long stay. One of the showers in loop A was closed and since there are only 4 for the entire campground that did create a longer line in the evening. Fish Creek was beautiful and the access to the park and Lake McDonald can’t be beat. Booking six months ahead is key but we were also able to stay an extra day by going back on recreation.gov one day ahead and moving campsites for one night. Not ideal but for us, well worth the little bit of extra work. Thank you Fish Creek campground and volunteer hard working rangers!! We appreciate you and can’t wait to return!

Host was friendly and informative. Great location on the lake. Easy access to trails and paths between loops. Bathrooms were clean and there was easy access to the utility sink. Campground was private with great spots for a tent. This loop doesn't have showers. Only A loop has showers and not enough for the number of campsites. There are also only communal Bear Boxes for the loop.

Site D162 at Fish Creek turned out to be a good pick: well-shaded, nearly twice the length of most other sites, and right next to a creek — it pays to reserve early and do your homework. Each loop has restrooms with electricity (handy for recharging batteries), though showers are limited to Loop A.

Even though the weather was a bit damp the campsite is wonderful. Nice lake and creek side sites with trails and views right there

Great location tucked into the trees but just steps from the lake. The bathrooms/showers were well maintained. The location was close to all the activities we wanted to do
