About Two Medicine Campground

Two Medicine is a 100 site campground located in the Two Medicine Valley of Glacier National Park. There is a ranger station and campstore in close proximity, but no other services or accommodations are located in the valley. There is no cell service or wifi.   Generators are allowed only in Loops B & C. Generators are prohibited in Loop A. All sites require a reservation. Most sites have a 6-month booking window with a good handful having a 4-day booking window. The A loop sites were quiet and beautiful along the little lake. Those sites were conveniently within close walking distance to the boat concession. The only downside to my site #8 (also worse site #14) were the extremely bright lights from the bathroom all night. Very few (if any) people used the bathroom at night. How about installing motion sensors for lights?

Two Medicine campground has many sites (some small, some large). Sites located across from the lake are really nice as you just cross the small road to walk to the lake. There are trails one can hike directly from the campground. There is a boat cruise on The Sinopah. This boat takes you from one end of the lake to the another end where you have the choice to get off the boat and hike the trails on that side of the lake. The boat makes its run every hour except there is a big gap between 11:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. During the 15 min cruise, the captain will give a history talk. Lastly this whole area is so beautiful! Also, no showers at the campground but showers and laundry are located next to Brownie’s Deli in the small town of East Glacier (about a 15 min drive from the campground).

We spent 2 days at this campground. The site itself was great for our Bambi Airstream. Breathtaking views. The rangers were helpful. Each night there were informational presentations which we found very interesting. We can't wait to visit again.
